Surf Tarifa

Surfing is becoming more and more popular, maybe because it is the purest way of surfing a wave standing on a board, or maybe just because it is so much fun! Surfing is not only a watersport, but more a way of life, the perfect way to enjoy sun and sea.

Everybody from 6 years old (depending on the conditions) can learn how to surf, as long as he is a good swimmer.

Surf Lessons Tarifa

Beginner surf lessons can take place almost every day, as we need only a small wave to start. Usually the mornings are better for surfing as the winds are still lighter.

Our beginner lessons consist of:

• Warming up
• Theory of how to paddle, to cross waves, to stand up, safety in the water
• Paddling and standing up exercices on the beach
• Practise in the water: paddling, turning around; crossing waves, different possibilities; standing up on the first waves.

We also offer advanced lessons for the students, who can already stand up on a surfboard and want to improve their riding, turning or other moves.

We do either 2 or 3 hours of surf lesson per day, we usually recommend the 2 hour version.

In our group lessons, every student gets his own board, leash and a wetsuit. Included is also the transfer to the beach, a third party liability and basic accident insurance. For an even more personal training, we offer surf private lessons as well. For young kids that is sometimes the best way of learning, as the instructor can be with them at all times.

Group Lessons

These prices are only valid if booked and paid in advance or at the beginning of the course. If the student prefers to pay in a daily basis, then the 1 day price will apply for each day.

We offer special discounts for big groups or people booking together. Ask us!

Included in all lessons / courses: insurance (3rd party and accident insurance; equipment is also covered, so if something breaks, it's on us), all the necessary equipment, transport from Tarifa to the beach, rescue boat (from 1-Jun until 30-Sept.)

Private Lessons

These prices are only valid if booked and paid in advance or at the beginning of the course. If the student prefers to pay in a daily basis, then the 1 day price will apply for each day.
